Tall, well educated and well traveled, I am easygoing, intelligent, honest, ethical, moral, straight forward, romantic, spontaneous and enjoy outings with friends and love being a kid sometimes. Growing up in the south, my mother taught me to eat my vegetables which has kept me youthful. LOL

During my career I was an Air Force pilot, taught accounting in the community college, have written software, designed computer networks and retired as Executive VP & CIO from a bank.

As a kid I was very dyslectic (still am) and failing in school until attending a special school for dyslectic kids with high IQ’s. In retirement I sought out and worked five years with a children’s charity for learning challenge children.

At our place in life marriage may not be an end goal but an affectionate loving partnership of adventure, lazy mornings and a wonderful life together is.

The important stuff... Why I am here:

While living in Vail, Colorado I was a volunteer judge in ski racing. One year Vail hosted the US National disabled skiing championships and I was ask to officiate. It was an eye opening event for me and I met a lot of wonderful people who happened to have a disability. I made some life long friends that week.

I was on the board of a software trade organization and knew a lady who used a wheel chair. The next year the trade organization had our annual convention in Denver and I ask the lady if she had ever been skiing and would she like to go to Breckenridge where they had a program teaching disabled skiing. We spent the weekend in Breckenridge and I have never seen anyone more happy and thrilled in my life as she was learning to sit ski.

I am honestly shy about meeting someone and will not know what to say or do. But I would very much enjoy meeting someone who could become a friend and possibly a companion for life...

A cup of coffee or glass of wine where we can visit without having to shout over the noise. Second date would be somewhere we could have a casual dinner and talk learning more about one another. Third date something active, perhaps Billiards (I am terrible by the way but it is fun.)

I have never been afraid to try something I wanted to do. Got my pilots license in High School. Learned to sail in my 50's. Started two businesses.
Now... Meeting a wonderful lady to spend our golden years together.
