I am a 52 year old above right knee amputee--service connected (USAF). I am interested in meeting or contacting other gay male amputees for friendship/etc. I am open to establishing friendships with devotees of amputees, but please let me know if you are a "devotee" or whatever: BIID, or you are a pretender, wannabe/etc. I would like to state that I did not want to become an amputee, events and things happen in ones life that transform us: nor have I ever had BIID or have I ever been a pretender/wannabe. I am interested in other amputees and able body folks, but I am open to learning more about BIID/pretenders/wannabes (I do not completely understand the culture, but I am pretty open minded about such things, just let me know of your intentions/etc. and then we can go from that point. I am 53 years young, I have blue eyes, grey/bwn hair, hairy chest, 5'7 in height, 140 lbs. good muscle tone and reasonable body shape.

First of all, I would like to travel again world wide; I have traveled to different parts of Europe and North America, but since becoming Above Right Knee Amputee I have only traveled in the local region in Sacramento, CA. I would like to be bold again and if I have to travel by myself, then so be it. I am thinking of getting back into theater or maybe a small part in a horror film: zombie character. LOL
